Well, this is a place where I express my feelings on the music that I (usually) own physically.
I've always had a fascination with music. In my younger years, I enjoyed listening to videogame soundtracks, both licensed and original, and sometimes would download them to the old family laptop off of places like khinsider.com. However, at the age of 12-ish I decided to actually buy the music I wanted to listen to physically. This decision was probably inspired by my father, who has been collecting CDs for as long as I've known him. And since then, my collection has grown substantially in my 4 years of collecting. It's grown so much I'm starting to run out of space for it all!
My taste has also changed quite a lot over the years (for better or worse). Going from blips and bloops from old arcade games and Masayoshi Takanaka, to the Grand Theft Auto soundtracks and Moving Shadow records, to Justice and Yes, to Aphex Twin and Radiohead, to Mr. Bungle, to Ween, and eventually where I am now with The Residents. (You can kinda see that [d]evalution in the picture I've provided above.) I've always usually listen to Electronic and Rock music. But, even though I have over 200 CDs, I feel that I'm a little Ignorent of other genres (Hip-Hop, Country, Classical, etc.). I'd love to branch out, but given the way things are now regarding the collection, I might have to hold out on that.
